Investment in commercial property increased

Investment in commercial property in Bulgaria increased by over 950% in 2011 compared with 2010, newswires reported, citing a study by real estate advisory firm Cushman & Wakefield released March 7. In 2010, commercial property investment in the country totalled less than EUR20m, in 2011 a massive influx increased it to EUR198m, the report stated.
 
Commercial property investment yields in Bulgaria remained basically unchanged in 2011, the study shows. The average yield for office space was 9.5%, for retail space 9.0%, and for industrial space 12.0%.
